Our Story: Learning to Stand Strong
Stand Strong was based on the foundation that it is important to Stand Strong through challenges we face in life. The mantra is inspired by 6 year old Edmond B. Bock IV, who sadly passed in a tragic accident. He learned how to “Stand Strong” in vacation bible school the summer before he passed, and it was something he repeated when he thought someone needed the reminder. He loved life, loved God, and loved people.
We all face something in our life that challenges us. Something that knocks us off our feet and makes it difficult to get moving again. Here at Stand Strong Fitness & Wellness, you are not alone in your journey to getting to a better place. We offer personal training, nutrition guidance, and mental health support. Taking care of yourself involves your whole well being.
Stand Strong is Owned and Operated by Candice Bock
Candice is certified through NASM and through the National Personal Training Institute of Philadelphia. She has been working as a personal trainer for 3 years and has been working with people in multiple healthcare settings for over 20 years. Her earlier experience includes work in long-term rehab, short-term rehab, hospice, and in physical therapy settings.
What she loves most about the job is the people she has the privilege of working with. She loves helping them get stronger and healthier and reaching their goals. She has experienced first-hand the positive impact that exercise and taking care of yourself can be and is eager to share that experience with others.
